San Diego Engagement Photographer | Sarah & Anthony Coronado Engagement
As a San Diego engagement photographer, I get to capture couples in some of their happiest moments! Each one of my engagement sessions is the perfect opportunity for me to work with my clients; and learn their personalities and styles prior to their wedding day.
I had been looking forward to taking Sarah and Anthony’s San Diego engagement photos for a couple of weeks; but on the day of the engagement session, we woke up to dark gray clouds and rain. Rather than rescheduling, we decided to embrace whatever the day sent our way; and the rain actually stopped long enough for us to enjoy ourselves and capture great memories at Coronado Beach!
Coronado Beach Engagement Session
Coronado Beach is a fantastic location for an engagement session. As a San Diego engagement photographer, I enjoy shooting at locations such as Coronado because it showcases our beautiful state; and provides a variety of backgrounds to showcase my clients’ love. Coronado beach engagement sessions are unique in that I am able to photograph in a variety of locations right in that one area.
I usually start by the dunes so that we can incorporate some greenery into your engagement photo album. Photographing at the dunes also has the added benefit of making us appear to be the only ones there, if the beach is crowded. It’s also great because this location offers a more private space for couples who prefer not to be the focus of attention. Following the dunes, I always bring my couples down to the iconic beachfront. Because Coronado Beach is so large, we can always find spots down by the water with few people, so there aren’t many people in the background of your photos. Don’t worry if a few are in the background, as I always edit the photos so it appears you are the only ones at the beach.
Another excellent location is near the rocks, which adds yet another interesting visual element to your engagement album. The combination of grassy dunes, sandy shores, rolling waves, and jagged rocks at Coronado Beach is a beach lover’s dream for engagement photos.
