Luce Loft Wedding Inspiration
I have been so excited to share this shoot at the Luce Loft that The Modern Love event put on last year. This shoot was exactly what I needed to pick up my camera again and get inspiration. When the pandemic hit, and we all went into quarantine, all my events and shoots got delayed or canceled, just like everything else. After not photographing anything for months, besides my kids, of course, I was so excited to see that Jill Fausner with Modern Love Event was putting together a styled shoot. It was the perfect thing for me to get my hands on my camera again and back into creating again.
Luce Loft transformation
This shoot took place at the beautiful Luce Loft event space in Little Italy, San Diego. It was my first time at that Luce Loft location. I immediately fell in love with how it is a blank slate venue, and you can get in there and use your imagination to bring the wedding or event of your dreams to life. The fact that it’s all open and all-white is the perfect blank space! The big windows just make it for a photographer’s dream during the day!
The Luce Loft was transformed beautifully for this shoot by the talented Jaime with Wild Heart Events. Jaime worked alongside Jill to transform Luce Loft into a beautiful wedding inspiration. Jill was the event host but also the florist. She was representing both of her companies: Modern Love Events and also Layered Vintage. I love how they used bold colors to decorate everything. One of the table setups was even decorated with bubble wrap! I mean could that get any more creative!?
The model for this shoot was using a stunning green Elizabeth Dye gown! Oh how we loved playing with that gown on her! Karla “KC” with KCWitkamp never disappoints with her hair and makeup skills, I just love working with her! I was also very impressed with the stationery and signage throughout the event. It was all done by Angelica with Velvet Fox Designs.
