As a La Jolla photographer, I was so excited when I found out about this photo shoot opportunity! I was attending the hybrid conference that was happening here in San Diego. This conference was for photographers who should both in film and digital. As a part of the conference, they get a few photographers to host some styled shoots so that we can go in and photograph the beautiful things they pull together. I am so excited to be sharing this styled shoot on the blog this week!

Janna Brown designed this shoot for anyone who is a mermaid at heart. Right on the beach, with its whimsical feel and all the mermaid things and details. As the talented designer behind this whimsical wedding inspiration, Janna designed everything so gracefully. It turned out just so perfectly fit for a mermaid. I just love how she brought together the beach feel and wedding to turn it into this beautiful shoot. As a La Jolla photographer, I was just in heaven! The beautiful calligraphy and paper details were by Jessica from Bohemian Ink. 

Another thing that was really fun about the shoot was that instead of a bride and groom as we always see, there were three models there. These three models wore stunning flowy gowns by Carol Hannah. I loved playing with the flow of the gowns against the wind and the models. 

As a La Jolla Jolla photographer, I have photographed there so many times, but this shoot will always be one to remember.
