In February I was able to be a part of this amazing Bridgerton wedding inspiration shoot. These amazing vendors came together and brought to life the show we’ve all been in love with, Bridgerton. If you’re anything like me you’ve watched it not only once but twice, maybe three times. I was so excited when I found out about this shoot, I signed up for it right away.
Held at the Westgate Hotel in downtown San Diego, this Bridgerton wedding shoot was straight out of the show! That hotel has such beautiful architecture and it goes so well with the show it was the perfect venue for the shoot. I love all the details throughout the hotel, The Versailles ballroom is so beautiful and it was the perfect complement for bringing the shoot together. This eye-catching fireplace was dressed up so beautifully by dawn with Tularosa flowers.
Once I got there, I noticed right away how every detail of the day was very well thought out. The drink bar was just beautiful; the dessert table and its location, perfectly placed and so gorgeous! The cake by Stevi from Hey there, Cupcake! had such a beautiful blue design on it with what looked to be glass butterflies flying out of the cake! I couldn’t believe they even had a tea table set up with such cute teacups and desserts; it was just the cutest!
This Bridgerton wedding inspiration shoot was designed by the very talented Dawn owner of Tularosa Flowers. She worked tirelessly to bring this vision to life together with Ryan (owner of Love Always) who was the planner for this shoot. I absolutely loved everything they came up with and put together.
The models that they had found were just so perfect for the role of Simon (The Duke) and Daphne, and I was truly shocked! Both outfits that this couple wore also tied into the shoot very well. I also loved that they had a model to represent Marina, another character from the show. She had a beautiful gown with butterflies on it that were just stunning!! I know they got the gowns were from En Blanc, a bridal gown store in L.A. The three different gowns used throughout the shoot were from Marchesa Bridal, Liz Martinez Bridal, Halfpenny London. The beautiful jewelry used throughout the shoe was from Edera Jewelry and the rings from Everett Fine Jewelry. They were just beautiful to photograph!
I was so excited when I got to the shoot and noticed that the make-up artist was Karla from Kc Witkamp, I just absolutely adore working with her! Karla’s work is so beautiful and always looks so natural.
When I got to the Governor’s Suite, the room where they had the reception table set up I was absolutely blown away. I felt like I was on the set of the show with this Bridgerton wedding inspiration! Sam from hostess Haven was just the sweetest to have been there and she provided the tabletop rentals! And once again Dawn really outdid herself with the beautiful flowers as the centerpieces for the table and also on the mantle of the fireplace in that room as well. It was all just put together so beautifully and perfectly that it was a dream to photograph!
At the end of that shoot I was really blown away by the beauty of everything. All the vendors that participated in the shoot did such an amazing job and it all came together to create this beautiful Bridgerton wedding inspired shoot!
