There is truly no better job than being a beach photographers in San Diego. Especially when you get to shoot gorgeous engagement photos on Coronado Island! For this engagement shoot, this full of personality and fun couple chose the iconic Coronado Beach to serve as the backdrop in telling this part of their love story. Rebecca and Jeff have always been huge lovers of the beach, so they knew this was something they wanted showcased in their engagement photos.
I, too, have always been drawn to the beach and enjoy shooting at oceanfront locations. The beach has a relaxing and tranquil atmosphere. I have noticed that couples always appear at ease and enjoy themselves throughout our sessions there. A beach session is usually ideal for a laid-back San Diego couple. Couples who do not want any images that are too posed or stiff and would rather have a lifestyle session. With a beach session, they can run about on the beach and even get their feet a little wet in the Pacific Ocean.
As a San Diego beach photographer, Coronado is one of my favorite location. It could be either for engagement photos or family session. Because it is an iconic part of the city and home to the iconic and unmistakable Hotel Del Coronado. This architectural marvel was built in 1888 and has served as a movie setting and a retreat for Hollywood’s most famous stars! Right on the edge of the hotel’s property is Coronado Beach. This section of the beach is ideal for photography since it has rolling sand dunes with plant life. In contrast to most other San Diego beaches, this plant life will offer some color and variation to otherwise flat sand.
Capturing Rebecca & Jeff’s engagement session was so fun and the pictures says it all! I will soon be sharing some highlights of their wedding as well.
