JW Marriott Weddings
Every time I travel to Palm Springs, I think about how beautiful it would be to have weddings with such gorgeous mountains on the horizon. My family and I are regular guests at the JW Marriott Desert Springs Palm Desert Resort & Spa. It’s by far one of our favorite places to spend our time together. During my most recent visit, I reached out to the catering Sales Manager. Asked for a tour of the event spaces to truly understand all that the JW Marriott Weddings has to offer. Let’s just say that this venue tour did not disappoint! It’s such a beautiful resort; JW Marriott weddings are guaranteed to be unforgettable events.
With the beautiful mountains as your backdrop and the luxurious resort for you and your guests to enjoy, JW Marriott weddings is the ideal place to make memories that will last a lifetime. I first learned about the JW Marriott when a client reached out about having her wedding at the venue. From the very first moment I arrived and each one thereafter, I was in love with the resort. Now, having stayed and experienced the resort as a guest, it is definitely a staple for our family getaways.
The Spa at Desert Springs
We started our tour of the resort by visiting the Spa Desert Springs—which includes 38,000 square feet of absolute heaven, brought directly to you in a newly reimagined world-class luxury spa. The Spa Desert Springs has 47 treatment rooms, along with a yoga and mat pilates studio. They also have gorgeous VIP areas and spa suites. They are perfect for bachelorette parties and bridal groups to prepare for wedding days. The wide variety of spa services, ranging from massages, facials, and full-body treatments, to the top-tier amenities like desert rain showers, Aromatherapy Hammam Steam Chamber, Dry, and Wet Steam Saunas are even more reasons to love this place. They also have an outdoor saltwater pool and whirlpool. They overlook the golf course, lakes, and beautiful mountains that are available for all spa guests. Oh, and you don’t have to be a guest at the resort to visit this spa!
JW Marriott Weddings
I’ve seen my fair share of weddings, and believe me when I tell you that the JW Marriott weddings are experiences to remember. With multiple choices for the location of the ceremony and receptions and unique offerings to accommodate your number of guests and deepest desires. JW Marriott weddings go to the greatest lengths to make sure your wedding really is a dream come true.
The Pointe
The Pointe is their main wedding space, it is the perfect ceremony location. It is surrounded by the tranquil waters of an absolutely ethereal lake. The Pointe offers a truly exceptional place to exchange your vows and begin your forever. As the bride, you’ll arrive at your ceremony in grand fashion—aboard your very own Gondola. The graceful palm trees and serene mountains make the perfect backdrop to say your “I Do!”. The Pointe can accommodate up to 200 guests, which makes it an ideal location for weddings; for receptions, this space can also accommodate up to 150 guests.
If you need a little more room, The Grove is a private setting along the resort’s golf course that’s ideal for larger weddings due to its 10,000 sq ft area that can accommodate up to 500 guests.
If you are looking to host an even bigger wedding or event, you’re still in the right place! You can buy out The Driving Range to host bigger events and can accommodate up to 1,000 guests. The Driving Range also provides a breathtaking, one-of-a-kind backdrop that includes the Santa Rosa Mountains with a rolling green and desert view that disappears into the horizon.
I was also able to take a peek at the JW Marriott Weddings stunning ballrooms—more than 234,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor event venues are available for everything from lavish weddings to corporate seminars. With a range of ballrooms at many different sizes, they can accommodate any event comfortably and in amazing style. With such an array of wedding and events spaces to choose from, JW Marriott weddings really do have it all—and more!
Rooms
While the majestic scenery and spectacular desert landscape may beckon you outside, the elegantly appointed guest rooms with luxurious amenities might just persuade you to stay put and enjoy the great indoors. From big rooms such as the Chairman’s Suites to the smaller rooms with king-sized beds, every couple is guaranteed to be accommodated comfortably. If you’re interested in having a JW Marriott wedding, I definitely recommend considering the Presidential Suite for your getting-ready space.
GOLF
And of course, The JW Marriott Desert Springs Palm Desert Resort & Spa is also an excellent destination for golf. Set against the view of those gorgeous Santa Rosa Mountains, they have two 18-hole championship-style courses. Palm and Valley, designed by none other than acclaimed architect Ted Robinson.
