Junípero Serra Museum Wedding
So that that I was excited about photographing a shoot by Julie paisley at Junípero Serra Museum wedding inspired was an understatement. I have always looked up to Julie and her images are so inspiring. She was one of the main influences on me to pick up a film camera and I am just in love with the whole process now!
Getting to do that shoot at Junípero Serra Museum was amazing. I have always passed their location and admired how beautiful it was on the outside. It’s truly a beautiful place for a wedding. I had done some shoots there but it has always been on the outside, which is beautiful. But the inside, even though we didn’t get to shoot in there, we were able to go inside and it was just as beautiful as outside. It’s such a beautiful place for a ceremony.

For this shoot at the Junípero Serra Museum wedding, there were many beautiful spots to photograph at. The table set up for the reception styled by Carrie Moe at Type A Society was at the back of the building. That reception table was set up to perfection! I could not believe how the colorful flowers by Nancy at Oak and The Owl added so much beauty to that table! She also did the florals for the ceremony which was another unbelievable setup.
It was also really amazing to get to see some flat lays styled by Carrie Moe. The Type A Society has also been such an inspiration with all their styling and beautiful content that they also have played a role in my inspirations. I love details and I can get a little nerdy when it comes to styling them. So, when I got to photograph the beauty that Carrie Moe had come up with it was so exciting.
This shoot at the Junípero Serra Museum wedding had so many elements that were new to me. For one, working with a model for that editorial look. That was so much fun! It truly helped spark so much inspiration for future shoots and my future brides!
