Parq West – San Diego Venue Shoot

At the end of May I photographed a beautiful styled shoot at this amazing San Diego wedding venue – Parq West! I absolutely love doing shoots like these because it gives me the chance to meet new people and also get to see their amazing work come to life! I was super excited to finally shoot at this wedding venue, that is where the idea for the shoot came about. Parq West is a San Diego wedding venue located in the heart of San Diego (my fave place if you can’t tell). There is so much history within this venue and I love how it is modern and it still has some charm with some of its original touches.

The history of Parq West.

This San Diego wedding venue started out in 1940 as the San Diego Woman’s Club and it has so much history behind it all. In 2017, the venue was sold to Behind the Scenes Catering and Events. They did a full remodel to bring in some modern charm. After the remodel is when they reopened as Parq West. It is amazing is how well they were able to maintain the charm and beauty that the venue had while still making it feel fresh and new! This has to be one of my new favorite spots to photograph! If you’re looking at San Diego wedding venues, you HAVE to check out Parq West. It doesn’t disappoint!

Styled session and details!

The details and decoration of this event was put on by Michele Kemp at The White Planning Co and were a dream to photograph. The cake and donuts on the dessert table was made by Anna with Ámame Desserts, every sweet treat tasted just as amazing as they looked (seriously, a photographer’s dream)! The flowers for the centerpieces and bouquet that day seriously blew my mind. You know know when you see someone’s inner soul come to life? That’s Becky with The Sweetest Blooms. She always amazes me with her work and I love when I have the opportunity to photograph her art. And the GORGEOUS hair and makeup for the models were done by Kalia!
